Other Payment Credits/Waivers

Disabled American Veteran and Vocational Rehabilitation

The College of New Jersey requires the appropriate authorization/approval forms on file in The Office of Student Accounts to be eligible for these payment waivers. Please submit agency vouchers to Student Accounts upon registering for courses. Waiver recipients are responsible for any charges not waived through this program.

Senior Citizen Waivers

A New Jersey public college may enroll without payment of tuition a number of senior citizens (sixty-five or older) equaling up to one percent of its total undergraduate enrollment. To be eligible for this waiver, senior citizens must be enrolled in credit-bearing courses and must be actively pursing a college degree. A senior citizen must be matriculated and successfully complete six semester hours toward a degree program each semester in order to be considered actively pursuing a degree. Senior citizens are responsible for the payment of any charges not waived through this program.

National Guard Waivers

National Guard waivers are processed through the Office of Student Financial Assistance. Waiver recipients are responsible for any charges not waived through this program.

Unemployment Tuition Waivers

Students seeking assistance through these programs must receive eligibility through the Office of Student Accounts. Appropriate authorization/approval forms, contracts and/or vouchers are required from the students’ regional counselors prior to incurring any expense. Students receiving unemployment tuition waivers are responsible for any charges not waived through this program.

TCNJ Employee Waivers

Employees must receive approval from the Office of Human Resources in order to receive an employee tuition waiver. Employees receiving tuition waivers are responsible for any charges not waived through this program. Please contact the Human Resources office at 771-2622 for additional information.

Tuition reimbursement forms are not accepted as a method of payment for undergraduate or graduate level courses.
